About
Built Around Planning, Communication, and Accountability
Liri Builders was created to provide homeowners with a more coordinated and organized construction experience — one where the plan is clear, the scope is written, and someone is accountable from the first conversation through closeout.
Foundation of the Company
L·I·R·I — Leadership, Innovation, Relationships, Improvement
Our name is our standard. These four principles guide how we plan, build, and communicate on every project.
Leadership
Someone is accountable for the plan, the schedule, and the trades from first conversation through closeout.
Innovation
Better methods, materials, and coordination tools applied where they genuinely improve the result.
Relationships
Clear, respectful communication with owners, designers, and trades — built to last beyond one project.
Improvement
Every project reviewed so the next one is planned, documented, and executed better.
Philosophy
How We Operate
Detailed planning
Scope, budget, and sequencing are developed on paper before construction begins.
Clear expectations
You know what's included, what's an allowance, and what's excluded — in writing.
Documentation
Decisions, selections, and changes are recorded so nothing depends on memory.
Communication
Consistent updates through planning milestones, inspections, and schedule changes.
Trade coordination
One team sequences and manages the trades so responsibility stays clear.
Quality control
Defined review checkpoints during construction — not just a final walkthrough.
Respect for the property
Protection, dust control, and daily cleanup treated as part of the job.
Responsible closeout
Punch list, final inspections, documents, and care information — finished properly.
Leadership
Ariel Ben Shimon
Founder of Liri Builders

For Ariel Ben Shimon, building has never been only about construction. It is about creating trust, improving the way people live, and delivering an experience clients feel confident about from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
Ariel has built his career around residential construction, sales leadership, project management, and team development. His experience includes guiding homeowners through complex renovation and construction decisions, leading sales and production teams, coordinating designers, trade partners, and project managers, and helping projects move from an initial idea into a completed home.
His approach is rooted in clear communication, personal accountability, and strong relationships. Ariel believes clients should never feel lost during the construction process. They should understand what is happening, know what comes next, and feel that their contractor is genuinely invested in the success of their project.
The name Liri Builders is deeply connected to Ariel's family and the values that motivate him. His wife and daughter are at the center of his life and are a constant reminder of why homes matter. A home is more than walls and finishes — it is where families grow, overcome challenges, celebrate milestones, and build their future.
Ariel founded Liri Builders around four principles: Leadership. Innovation. Relationships. Improvement. These principles guide how the company serves its clients, manages its projects, supports its team, and approaches every opportunity to build something better.
Outside of construction, Ariel's passion for motorsports, boating, and performance reflects the same mindset he brings to his work: preparation matters, details matter, and meaningful results come from discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Planning a Remodel, Addition, ADU, or Custom Home?
Before you finalize assumptions about design, budget, timeline, or permitting, talk it through with a builder. An early conversation usually clarifies what's realistic — and often changes the plan for the better.
Free and no obligation — a conversation, not a commitment.
